Gregg Wylde is looking forward to continuing his development under Ally McCoist after helping Rangers clinch the SPL title.
The versatile 20-year-old has started every game since facing PSV Eindhoven at Ibrox in March but is not content to rest on his laurels.
He is desperate to retain his first-team place under the new manager, with McCoist to take control after being Walter Smith's assistant this term.
"Hopefully I'll play again under Coisty. He's helped me throughout the season and he knows what I'm capable of doing," said Wylde.
"I've spoken to him already and he thinks I can push on.
"The boys have done really well this season, we've worked really hard and nobody could ever fault our efforts because of the short squad we've got.
"The young ones have come in and done well - like me, Kyle Hutton, John Fleck and Jamie Ness.
"It's hard for young boys to come in straight away and play games but I think the young boys have stepped up to the mark really well."
Wylde, who has made 21 appearances this season, also took the time to thank Smith after the Rugby Park win secured the title.
"Walter Smith's done really well for me this season. I spoke to him yesterday because of what he's done for me in my career so far and I've enjoyed working with him."
Reflecting on the title, Wylde added: "It's not sunk in yet.
"For me as a young boy to come in and to get my first trophies in the league and the cup I'm chuffed to bits. Hopefully I can get more.
"It's been a bit of a shock, but I've enjoyed every single minute of it since my first game against PSV Eindhoven."
Edu delight
USA international Maurice Edu has also expressed his delight at helping Smith sign off in style with a third successive Scottish league crown.
"It's been a long season for the club. We've had a lot to deal with but we've dug deep and got some great results in difficult circumstances," Edu told the club's
official website.
"It's definitely a special one. First and foremost it's the gaffer's last year and we wanted to make it a special one for him and send him off on a good note.
"A lot of the credit really goes to the gaffer because he's really brought the team together over the past few years.
"The players have come together really well and fought together under the difficult circumstances we've been under and now we've reaped the benefits of that.
"We're enjoying it now because it's three in a row and we're not going to get too ahead of ourselves, but we definitely want to come back and make it four in a row."
