Bolton loan star will not be sitting on the bench next season

Ali Al Habsi insists he will not accept being second choice with any club next season. The Oman international is currently on a season-long loan at Wigan from Bolton, and he has performed admirably. Al Habsi has been attracting attention from a host of clubs, including Arsenal, although he insists he has not held talks with anyone about his future. He is due back to Bolton this summer, but with Jussi Jaaskelainen already firmly entrenched as number one - they look to have a big decision to make. Should Owen Coyle stick with Jaaskelainen, then Al Habsi has seemingly made it clear he would not be happy to remain at The Reebok. "Regarding my situation, there are no serious negotiations with any club so far," he wrote on his Twitter account. "After the last match next week and whether we win or lose, I will be heading back to Bolton. Be sure I will not accept sitting on the bench next season with any of the clubs."
