Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has been cleared to play in the Champions League final by Uefa.

Midfielder has case dismissed by Uefa

Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has been cleared to play in the Champions League final after Uefa cleared him of allegations of racist abuse. Uefa opened a disciplinary case against Busquets after Real Madrid alleged the Spain international aimed a racist insult at Marcelo during the stormy Champions League semi-final between both sides last month. If found guilty Busquets could have been suspended and missed the final against Manchester United, but Uefa has dismissed the allegations of racist abuse and the midfielder will be free to face Sir Alex Ferguson's men at Wembley on 28th May. "Sergio Busquets will be able to play in the Champions League final," read a Barcelona statement. "UEFA has informed FC Barcelona that it rejected the complaint filed by Real Madrid."
