Millwall have started their rebuilding ahead of next season by informing seven players of their release and agreeing a deal with their first signing.

Former Lions player of the year Andy Frampton is among those to be leaving The Den this summer along with Danny Schofield and a number of youngsters who have failed to make the grade.

Ashley Grimes, who spent much of the season on loan at Lincoln, Marc Laird, Pat O'Connor, Kiernan Hughes-Mason and John Sullivan have also been told they can find new clubs.

Boss Kenny Jackett has also agreed a deal with his first new signing, West Brom's England U17 keeper Ryan Allsop.

The exciting youngster has agreed a one-year deal with the club and it will be finalised at the start of July.
