Schweinstweiger storms out of press conference after Robben reports

Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has retaliated to comments made by team-mate Arjen Robben. Dutchman Robben questioned Schweinsteiger's leadership qualities when the midfielder filled in as skipper in place of regular captain Philipp Lahm. Schweinsteiger took exception to the reported remarks, but only after venting his fury on a journalist at a press conference ahead of Saturday's visit of Schalke. "It's a joke what you write, you don't understand anything, you should treat me with more respect," lambasted the German, before storming out. The 26-year-old then re-emerged to settle the score with Robben: "I'm not a small captain, when I say something everyone in the changing room listens to me." Bayern, who sacked coach Louis van Gaal earlier this month, languish fourth in the Bundesliga, 13 points behind leaders Dortmund.
