Clark disappointed to see defender's Huddersfield loan cut short

Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark admits he is 'gutted' to have lost Sean Morrison after the defender was recalled from his loan spell by Reading. Morrison joined the Terriers on loan last month and had been an unused substitute in the League One club's last four matches. He has been called back by Reading as the Championship side feel he would be best served by finishing the season at the Madejski Stadium. However, despite not being able to give Morrison an opportunity to impress on the pitch, Clark is still disappointed to have lost the 20-year-old from his squad. "I'm gutted to lose Sean, because he's a very good footballer and has shown a terrific attitude all the time he's been here," Clark told the club's official website. "I would like to have given Sean some game time, but how could I when the two lads in possession of the shirts have been playing the way they have? "It's a blow that he's gone back, but he's Reading's player and I respect their decision."
