Amos, Mutch and Hammill in for Iceland friendly

England Under 21 duo Kieran Gibbs and Frank Fielding have pulled out of Monday's friendly against Iceland due to injury. Left-back Gibbs has returned to Arsenal for treatment, while goalkeeper Fielding has gone back to Blackburn Rovers due to his knock. As a result, Under 21 coach Stuart Pearce has added Ben Amos, Jordon Mutch and Adam Hammill to his squad for the game at Deepdale. Pearce had already allowed Jordan Henderson, Danny Welbeck, Chris Smalling, Fabrice Muamba and Daniel Sturridge to return to their clubs following last Thursday's win over Denmark. Micah Richards is also out of the Iceland game due to a hamstring injury sustained against the Danes, prompting Pearce to previously call up Nathan Baker and Jordan Spence. The five additions to the squad, therefore, could all make their Under 21 debuts against Iceland having previously represented England at younger levels.
