Sullivan injury to force Doncaster to act

Doncaster Rovers are hoping to sign a goalkeeper to help cover the injured Neil Sullivan. 41-year-old Sullivan has been struggling in recent weeks with foot and shin problems, and he missed the weekend clash with Watford. Now Rovers chief Sean O'Driscoll is keen to bolster his options as he waits to learn how long he will be without Sullivan. "Neil's injury flared up again after he took a whack on it. He's reacted to the shin injury, so he wasn't fit," he said. "It might take a few weeks as well. It's not one of those we think will clear up. So we may be in the market for a goalkeeper. I'm not sure yet." Gary Woods, 20, has been deputising, but O'Driscoll wants someone more experienced. "We'd like to be comfortable in mid-table where we could leave Gary in. But you have to be able to pull all young players out at certain times," he continued.
