Carlisle are poised to sign Republic of Ireland Under 21 international Paddy Madden, skysports.com understands.
Highly-rated Madden has been linked with a move away from Bohemians for some time after attracting the interest of a host of clubs over the last 12 months.
Scottish giants Celtic, Derby, Millwall and Burnley have all been credited with an interest in Madden.
However, Carlisle are set to win the race for the 20-year-old as Greg Abbott looks to bolster his options before the transfer window slams shut on Monday.
Madden's arrival at Brunton Park will help fill the void left by Gary Madine's departure earlier this month.
