Blackburn Rovers have completed the signing of Schalke midfielder Jermaine Jones.
Skysports.com exclusively broke the news of Rovers' bid to sign the American international, who has now signed until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old, who played three games for Germany - all friendlies - before switching allegiances to USA in 2009 - has signed with a view to sealing a permanent deal with Rovers.
Blackburn boss Steve Kean is delighted to be able to clinch his signing.
"He's a fantastic signing for us," Kean told Rovers' official website.
"Anybody who knows him as a player, he's a natural ball winner, he's a very good passer as well.
"He's got a fantastic engine, he can go box-to-box, he's a genuine all round midfield player."
