Leeds have agreed to keep Honduras international Ramon Nunez at Elland Road for the rest of the season.

Leeds also have option to keep midfielder for a further 12 months

Leeds United have agreed to keep Honduras international Ramon Nunez at Elland Road for the remainder of the season. Nunez signed for Leeds on a short-term contract back in August after impressing manager Simon Grayson during a trial spell. He has made just two substitute appearances for the Whites, with both outings coming in October against Cardiff City and Scunthorpe United. However, despite his limited playing time, the 25-year-old has been handed an extension by Leeds, who have the option to prolong the deal by a further 12 months. Nunez, who featured for Honduras at last summer's World Cup in South Africa, is currently away on international duty preparing for games in the Copa Americana.
