Skysports.com understands that Liverpool starlet Nathan Eccleston will join Charlton Athletic on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 20-year-old spent time with Huddersfield last term, scoring on his debut against Yeovil, and will now return to League One with high-flying Charlton.
The Addicks are currently sixth in the table, just six points from the promotion places, and Eccleston's impending arrival will hand the club a welcome boost.
Eccleston is training with Charlton on Wednesday morning and will sign for the club once the relevant paperwork is finalised.
The Manchester-born marksman will then be in line to make his debut for the club in their weekend fixture away to Sheffield Wednesday.
