Cavani and Hamsik on the radar of Nerazzurri

Inter Milan chief executive Ernesto Paolillio has confirmed the club are interested in signing Edinson Cavani and Marek Hamsik. The Napoli pair have caught the eye this season after an impressive campaign which has seen them move to second in the Serie A table. Striker Cavani and midfielder Hamsik, both 23, are thought to be Nerazzurri targets and could be the subject of January bids. Paolillo told Radio Crc: "Cavani and Hamsik are two very good players and certainly I'd like to see them play for Inter, as indeed I think all clubs would love to have them on their roster. "We have made other choices of corporate strategy and this is why we haven't invested on them but now it is appropriate to look to the future."

Voices

However, Cavani's agent Claudio Anellucci insists the Uruguayan forward is happy at San Paolo despite the transfer speculation. He told calciomercatoweb.it: "Renewing the contract with Napoli? These are just voices, when there will be something, it will be the club to communicate. "The interest from Inter, Manchester City, United and Real Madrid? Football is also nice for this, because you can write everything and more. "The truth is that we are so happy with how the season is going that we haven't other thoughts." New Inter manager Leonardo will be looking to put his stamp on the side inherited from Rafa Benitez. Hamsik and Cavani are set to face Leonardo's men when Napoli travel to the San Siro for a league clash on Thursday evening.
