Ancelotti says striker will get his chance in coming weeks

Carlo Ancelotti insists there is 'no way' Daniel Sturridge will be leaving Chelsea on loan during the January transfer window. Reports have claimed that the striker has asked for a temporary stint away from Stamford Bridge in order to play regular first-team football. Sturridge has made 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League this season, but has yet to start for the reigning champions. He scored in both UEFA Champions League ties against MSK Zilina, but remains the back-up to the likes of Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka. However, Ancelotti feels the 21-year-old will get his chance over the coming weeks and does not want to lose Sturridge from his plans. "Sturridge has the quality; he will have more opportunity to play for us up front at the beginning of games," said Ancelotti. "He hasn't asked to go on loan but if he asked me I would say, 'No way!'"
