James Vaughan admits he has been left in the dark over his Everton future.

Striker approaching end of Palace spell

James Vaughan admits he has been left in the dark over his Everton future. The 22-year-old striker will wrap up his loan spell at Crystal Palace, which has yielded five goals in 13 games, after the Eagles' home clash with Hull City. Former England Under 21 striker Vaughan believes he has finally proved his fitness during the temporary switch to Selhurst Park after being sidelined by a series of injuries since making his Everton debut as a teenager. But he is unsure whether he is still wanted by Toffees boss David Moyes.

Situation

Vaughan said: "I've not spoken to anybody at Everton since I've been down here. "So I'll just have to go back and see what the situation is and take it from there. "Playing week in week out has helped to show that my body is up to it. "I knew that but it was good to show other people I can do it."
