Tykes ace in no rush to leave for Premier League

Barnsley ace Adam Hammill insists he is in no rush to make the move to the Premier League. The in-form winger is being chased by a host of Premier League clubs after catching the eye at Oakwell this season. The former Liverpool youngster impressed his suitors with the winning goal against Portsmouth on Saturday and Barnsley are bracing themselves for bids for Hammill in the January transfer window. The 22-year-old admits it is his ambition to play in the Premier League, but he is happy to bide his time as he continues to learn his trade. "I just take each game as it comes," said Hammill. "I'm enjoying my football and looking forward to the next match. The main aim is to play well and score goals. "To play in the Premier League is an ambition I've always had. "For every young lad to reach the highest level is the ambition. "But there's no rushing - it has to be the right time. I'm learning my trade at Barnsley. Whatever happens, I'm enjoying myself here."
