Dutchman inks two-year deal after proving fitness

Swansea have finally signed Dutch midfielder Kemy Agustien on a two-year deal. Agustien was set to sign this summer after impressing on trial, but the move was held up after he sustained an injury in the friendly against ADO Den Haag during the club's pre-season tour of Holland The 24-year-old has now proved he has returned to full fitness after passing a medical and he has now put pen-to-paper with the Welsh outfit. Agustiene arrives at the Liberty Stadium as a free agent having left AZ Alkmaar at the end of last season and he is hoping to be involved in next Saturday's Championship clash at Reading. "It's nice to finally get everything agreed. I'm so excited about it," Agustien told the club's official website. "I've worked hard to get back from the injury and started integrating with the squad on the training field this week. "I only did about two weeks pre-season training before I joined up with Swansea in Holland. Then I picked up the injury, so I've had a bit of catching up to do. "But I'm feeling good and I hope to push myself into the frame against Reading a week on Saturday.''
