Davide Baiocco is hoping to have done enough during a trial at Crystal Palace to earn a move to England.
The Italian midfielder recently took in a spell at Selhurst Park, having been given permission to turn out in a pre-season friendly by his current employers Brescia.
The 35-year-old feels he fared well during his time with the Eagles and admits it would be a dream come true were he to be given an opportunity to test himself on English shores.
Baiocco told tuttomercatoweb: "It was a great experience, we'll see if they (Palace) propose something.
"I'm waiting for news from my agent and then we'll decide together with Brescia.
"I love English football and it was a thing born by chance, there was the possibility of a friendly and that was a good experience. We'll see what comes out.
"I like the way people live football in England, they think only to play. The result is not always important, only that you have tried your best.
"There are many things to consider, together with Brescia, and that doesn't mean that if Crystal Palace made me a proposal I would accept. There are many things to consider.
"In life, never say never, but for now I think I will start the season with Brescia".
