Frederic Piquionne believes that his new club West Ham United can achieve a top-10 finish this season.
The French striker joined the Hammers from Lyon on Friday for an undisclosed fee, reuniting with former Portsmouth boss Avram Grant in the process.
Piquionne holds Grant in high regard following his work at Pompey last term, and he is confident West Ham will enjoy a positive 2010/11 after flirting with relegation last campaign.
He told Sky Sports News: "I think Avram is a good manager. He called me after he joined West Ham and wanted to join him.
"But the negotiations were very long. Now, though, I am here and very happy.
"I think we can have a good season here at West Ham. The fans here are fantastic.
"I think we can finish in the top 10. We will give our best to achieve that."
