Toffees & Rovers eye Bolton ace

Skysports.com understands Everton and Blackburn are keeping tabs on Bolton ace Matt Taylor. Taylor's future at Bolton looks uncertain following the arrival of Martin Petrov from Manchester City on a free transfer. Former Portsmouth star Taylor struggled to hold down a regular place in the Bolton side last season following the arrival of Owen Coyle as manager. The 28-year-old has a number of admirers in the Premier League with Everton chief David Moyes and Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce thought to be big fans of Taylor. Moyes and Allardyce are keen to bolster their squads and they could make a move for versatile star Taylor if Bolton indicate they could be ready to do business for the player. Taylor could be interested in a move away for a fresh challenge if he finds himself down the pecking order at the Reebok Stadium.
