Agent plays down reports of bid

Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Lee Grant's agent has denied reports that he is set to sign for Burnley. The 27-year-old still has two years left on his current contract at Hillsborough, but he has been strongly linked with a move. Former Wednesday boss Brian Laws, now at Burnley, was said to be keen on raiding his old club for Grant, but the keeper's agent Gino Culbertson has denied reports that talks are underway. "This speculation keeps cropping up because of the Brian Laws connection," he told the Sheffield Star. "I think everyone knows that Brian is a big fan of Lee's so it is only natural that it will keep cropping up. "But Lee is a Sheffield Wednesday player and very happy at the club. "Lee's sole focus is on getting in tip-top shape for the upcoming season."
