Defender signs new 12-month contract with Birmingham
Birmingham City have announced that defender Stuart Parnaby has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
The stopper's previous deal expired this summer and his future was in doubt after a frustrating 2009/10 season.
Parnaby struggled for fitness during the last campaign, making just six Premier League starts.
But Blues boss Alex McLeish has opted to reward the 27-year-old full-back with fresh terms, ensuring he will remain at St Andrews for another 12 months.
Parnaby has made 50 appearances for Birmingham since joining from Middlesbrough in 2007.
