Centre-half could return to the Walkers Stadium
Ipswich defender Alex Bruce claims Championship rivals Leicester are keen to secure his signature.
The 25-year-old centre-half has one year remaining on his current contract at Portman Road, but has fallen out of favour under Roy Keane.
He spent the second half of the 2009/10 campaign on loan at Leicester, doing enough during his time at the Walkers Stadium to convince Nigel Pearson that he was worthy of a permanent deal.
Bruce admits he has been in touch with Pearson since the season came to a close and believes there is a possibility he will be back with the Foxes next term.
He told the Leicester Mercury: "I have spoken to the manager (Pearson) and he said he would like to do something, so I will have to wait and see.
"There are a few hurdles to overcome and a lot will depend on how much Ipswich ask for me.
"I hope they do get something sorted but, if they don't, I will knuckle down at Ipswich and win my place back."
