Juventus skipper Alessandro Del Piero has not ruled out ending his playing days in America.

Veteran to stay at Juve next term but non-commital after that

Juventus skipper Alessandro Del Piero has not ruled out ending his playing days in America. Recent speculation has suggested the veteran could leave the Bianconeri in the summer to join Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls. But the 35-year-old, who has become a cult figure at Juve since signing from Padova in 1993, insists he will honour this current contract to stay at the club until June 2011. However the skipper, who is due to visit America this summer on holiday, admits he could then make that move. He said: "Definitely next season, I'll wear the Juventus jersey again. Then, we will see. Everything can happen. "Am I evaluating the possibility of moving to New York? Maybe I'll go there before on holiday, then I don't know what will happen."
