Bayern squad player keen on first-team football

Bayern Munich midfielder Hamit Altintop admits his long-term future is uncertain with his contract expiring in the summer. It had been thought the ex-Schalke man could quit the Bundesliga giants and secure first-team football elsewhere next season. However, the Germany-born Turkish international is settled at Bayern and enjoys being with a successful and ambitious club. Altintop believes he has given his all to the Bavarian outfit over the years and believes his commitment to the cause is beyond contestation. The 27-year-old admits he has lucrative offers from elsewhere, although Bayern would remain in the driving seat if there was on offer on the table.

Committed

"In recent years I've shown I'm fully behind this club and doing my very best with all my heart," he told tz newspaper. "It's very important being at a top club who are successful in Europe. Bayern are a top club. They are very ambitious. "It's also important for me to continue developing as a human, but it's brutal if you're not getting regular football. "I've received offers. Some are lucrative, but I aim to play at a top club where everything fits. Then I'd only need to focus on my performances. "To find such a club isn't easy. No matter which club I join I'd have to create myself a new reputation there. This is also something I'd consider. "There haven't been any talks (with Bayern) just yet, but I feel we don't need to talk much. The club doesn't need to win me over. I need to compare and then decide myself."
