Midfielder wants to silence the roar of The Kop

Benfica midfielder Javi Garcia insists he and his team-mates will not buckle under the famous Anfield atmosphere in their Europa League quarter-final against Liverpool. The Portuguese hold a 2-1 aggregate advantage ahead of Thursday's second leg on Merseyside and Jorge Jesus' side are confident of reaching the semi-finals. Benfica, though, will need to overcome what is expected to be vibrant home support for Liverpool, which has proved a decisive factor in the past. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Roma and Juventus have all buckled in front of The Kop in previous seasons, but Garcia is determined not to suffer the same fate. "This match is a dream for any player because Anfield is a mythical stadium," he told BenficaTV. "We have a difficult match, but we want to reach the final. "We need to show that we are not afraid of the atmosphere." Benfica won 2-0 at Anfield in the UEFA Champions League last 16 in 2006 to secure a 3-0 aggregate victory.
