Goalkeeper recalled from Sheffield United loan

Blackburn have confirmed that Mark Bunn has been recalled from his loan spell at Sheffield United. The goalkeeper moved to Bramall Lane at the start of the season and has been one of the mainstays of Kevin Blackwell's side. However, he has now returned to his parent club to provide cover after No.1 Paul Robinson was ruled out for a month with a torn calf muscle. Jason Brown came on to replace Robinson in the 3-1 defeat at Tottenham on Saturday but Sam Allardyce will now have the additional option of Bunn. Bunn's final appearance for Sheffield United came in Tuesday's 3-0 over Blackpool and Blades coach Gary Speed revealed after the match they would be looking to replace him. Speed said: "Bunny has gone now. We need to thank him for everything he has done. He has been fantastic. "I am sure we will be looking to bring someone in."
