Glovers boss pays tribute to striker

Millwall have agreed a deal to sign Jonathan Obika on loan from Tottenham Hotspur after the striker returned from Yeovil Town. Obika had scored seven goals in 25 appearances for Yeovil this season and was expected to finish the campaign at Huish Park. However, the 19-year-old returned to Spurs on Thursday and was immediately lined up for an initial month-long switch to Millwall. Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton praised Obika's impact at the club and believes the forward was looking to move back to the London area. Skiverton told the club's official website "We've been very lucky to have Jon with us for almost a year at Yeovil. "He was only 18 when he joined us and he's been with us for the best part of a season scoring some vital goals. "He is going to return to spend some time with his family. Over the past 12 months, he hasn't had much of a break except for his international trip to Egypt. "He is a very humble person; a family guy and everyone at the club wishes Jon all the very best for the future."
