Blackpool boss Ian Holloway has confirmed three players have been dropped for the game against Sheffield Wednesday following a night out at the weekend.
Barry Bannan, Neal Eardley and Ishmel Demontagnac have been axed from Holloway's plans for Tuesday's trip to Hillsborough after being spotted at a nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning following Blackpool's 2-1 home defeat by Leicester City on Saturday.
Holloway has expressed his disappointment in the trio and confirmed the players would not be involved against the Owls.
"You can't hide a thing in Blackpool and I'm very, very disappointed in them," said Holloway
"I've dropped them from the squad as I want to send out a message that I won't have that.
"Do they think the time that they got in is acceptable especially when they had training or treatment on Sunday morning?
"We are professionals and going out in the town after a defeat is not a professional thing to do."
