Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has dismissed speculation linking the Gunners with a move for Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic.
The title-chasing Gunners are in the market for a frontman following the long-term injury to Robin van Persie, while Nicklas Bendtner has been out since the end of October.
The media linked Wenger with a move for Dinamo Zagreb hot-shot Mandzukic at the weekend, but the Arsenal boss has denied the rumours.
When asked if the reports were true, Wenger told the club's TV Online: "No. You will hear a few names until the end of the transfer window without there being any truth in it."
He added the club is "not close" to bringing in a new face.
