Charlton have re-signed David Mooney on a month's loan from Reading.
The 24-year-old Irishman scored two goals in 11 appearances during a three-month stint with the Addicks earlier this season, but was forced to return to the Madejski Stadium in December after picking up a knee injury in the 4-4 draw with Millwall.
Since then the striker has returned to full fitness and manager Phil Parkinson acted quickly to secure his services once again.
Mooney will go straight into the Charlton squad which travels to Wycombe on Saturday and Parkinson is confident of extending the new deal further.
He told the South London Press: "There's a good chance we'll be able to extend it until the end of the season."
