Midfielder tight-lipped on imminent move

Marseille midfielder Mathieu Valbuena expects to make a sharp exit from the club with the January transfer window now open. The 25-year-old has struggled to break into Didier Deschamps' first team this season and is eager to move in order to find regular football. Valbuena maintains a number of clubs are interested and he is currently in talks with his agent over his best options. "I have not decided where to go yet," he told francefootball.fr. "We should have news in the coming days. I do not want to rush because my future is in question. I must make the right choice." Referring to his exile under Deschamps, Valbuena added: "I need to play, to trample the lawn each week, the smell of the locker room, feeling the adrenaline of competition when I go on the field."
