Ipswich boss Roy Keane is ready to let defensive duo Gareth McAuley and Ben Thatcher leave Portman Road.
Keane is prepared to wield the axe after a dismal start to the season, which sees the club still searching for their first win of the campaign.
McAuley, who was sent off in Tuesday's 1-1 home draw with Nottingham Forest, has revealed he has been informed he can leave if another club comes in for him.
"My agent got a call from the chairman who said if a club could be found for me then to go ahead," McAuley told the Daily Mail.
Former Tottenham and Charlton defender Thatcher has not featured in the first-team this season and Keane has confirmed he is not in contention for selection.
"He's fit, but not in my plans," noted Keane.
