Everton boss looking forward to weekend

Everton boss David Moyes is looking forward to having all his new signings available to him this weekend. Sylvain Distin started their last game against Wigan, whilst Russian winger Diniyar Bilyaletdinov came off the bench. Now Dutchman John Heitinga is set for his full debut against Fulham at Goodison Park on Sunday. Moyes presented Heitinga and Bilyaletdinov to the press for the first time on Friday, after both returned from international duty. "I am very satisfied with these two players, Billy and Johnny, they are both internationals but they are both young enough to improve," said Moyes. "They both have experience, but not experience in the Premier League. But they will settle quickly. "Johnny can play full-back, centre-half and in midfield while Billy can also play in several positions. "We still do not have that big a squad, so we need the adaptability they have. "They are good additions, they will fit in and find this a good place to be. We are excited to have them. "This is a very difficult international break, coming straight after the transfer window closes, because you have no time to settle in players that have signed for the club because they are straight off to join up with the national squads. "That is why we squeezed in a quick trip for Billy before he joined up with Russia, he had the chance to see the team and get a very brief period on the pitch. "The new faces have lifted the players, they can see that we have more competition for places and there will also be several injured players returning soon who have been out for a while."
