Striker scores four goals in two games on pre-season tour
Notts County boss Ian McParland has confirmed he is weighing up a contract offer to Luke Rodgers.
The former Crewe and Port Vale striker has been training with the Magpies as he searches for a new club.
Rodgers was released by Yeovil Town at the end of last season and had been tipped to join Brighton & Hove Albion.
However, he linked up with the Magpies for a pre-season trip to Austria and scored four goals in two appearances to give McParland food for thought.
"I'll have a think about Luke over the next few days," McParland told the club's official website.
"He has fire in his belly and he is a hungry player.
"Like I said, I'll have a think about things over the coming days, but let's just say Luke hasn't done himself any harm at all."
