Brighton have completed the signing of striker Adrian Colunga from Spanish club Getafe for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old had a medical at the Amex Stadium on Saturday evening and signed a two-year contract with Albion.
Colunga watched the Championship match against Bolton, in which Brighton came from behind to win 2-1 with goals from Craig Mackail-Smith and Joao Teixeira.
And Albion boss Sami Hyypia is confident Colunga will bring plenty of experience to his squad.
Hyypia said, "Adrian is another very skilful, technical player, who is good on the ball, capable of scoring goals and will create chances for others.
"He has the experience of playing at the highest level in Spain, having worked his way up through the Spanish leagues, and he will add to our attacking options."
Colunga began his career at Sporting Gijon, and also played for Soledad, Pajara Playas and Las Palmas in the Spanish lower leagues.
In 2008 Colunga moved to La Liga when he joined Recreativo de Huelva, before joining Getafe in 2010. He has also spent time on loan at Real Zaragoza and Sporting Gijon.
