A host of clubs are chasing full-back Tom Kennedy after he parted company with Barnsley, Sky Sports understands.
Barnsley have been looking to cut costs since their relegation to League One and a number of players have departed Oakwell.
Now Kennedy has left the club, after the two parties came to agreement over the remaining 12-months of his deal.
Kennedy joined Barnsley in 2012 and quickly became an important first-team member and was handed a new two-year deal last summer.
He played over 40 games for the club last season, but is now in talks with a number of clubs.
