Brentford have signed highly-rated winger Moses Odubajo from Leyton Orient for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old, who came through the Orient ranks and scored the opener in last season's play-off final, has signed a three-year contract with the newly-promoted Bees.

Brentford boss Mark Warburton told the club's official website: "We are delighted to welcome Moses to the club.

"He is a player we have been looking at for the past few months. We have been very impressed with his quality and his consistency.

"Moses is a young player, not yet 21, with a lot of development potential.

"He has excellent physical abilities and a real desire to move forward in the game.

"I'm delighted to secure his signature and I'm sure he will prove to be an exciting addition to our squad."

Odubajo's agent, Hootan Ahmadi, confirmed the player rejected several offers from elsewhere to make the move to Brentford.

"Moses loved his time at Leyton Orient and would have been happy to stay if they had won promotion to the Championship," Ahmadi told Sky Sports.

"Moses has decided to move on as he wants to push on and play at the highest level he can.

"Moses would like to thank the fans, Russell Slade and everyone connected with Leyton Orient for what they have done for him during his time at the club, but now he is ready to start a new challenge at Brentford.

"Brentford think highly of him and we were really impressed by the team at Brentford, the football director, the manager and the owner.

"The set-up at the club shows they want to go places and that is why out of the clubs who wanted to sign Moses he has chosen to go to Brentford and he is looking forward to the new season."
