Poland international completes Spanish switch
Primera Liga outfit Levante have completed the signing of Dariusz Dudka from Auxerre after seeing him pass a medical.
It was revealed on Friday that the Poland international was closing on a switch to Spain.
Having suffered relegation out of Ligue 1 last season, he was keen to move on and continue testing himself at the highest possible level.
Levante are prepared to offer him those opportunities in the Spanish top flight.
Interest
It appeared at one stage as if Dudka was destined for Germany, but transfer talks stalled and he now finds himself scrapping for a place in Juan Ignacio Martinez's first-team plans.
"I chose Levante because they gave me the best offer," said the versatile 28-year-old.
"Russian and Turkish clubs were also interested in me, but I believe I can perform the best in Spain.
"If nobody has heard of me in Spain, I can tell them that I have been capped 65 times for Poland and played in two matches at Euro 2012."
