Former Bradford star wants a chance to goodbye to the fans

York's returning midfield dynamo Lee Bullock is already relishing the chance to return to former club Bradford in October. The 31-year-old returned to Bootham Crescent this summer, eight years after leaving the Minstermen to join Cardiff, on a free transfer following his release by Bradford. However, Bullock is poised to return to Valley Parade on October 13 when York face the Bantams and he told Skysports.com that he hopes to bid farewell to the West Yorkshire side's supporters in style.

Farewell

"I'm definitely looking forward to returning to Bradford and hopefully I can do what a lot of other players can do when they go back there," said Bullock. "Most of the lads that came back as an opposition player would play well and take points back with them, so hopefully I can do the same for York. "I didn't really get a chance to say farewell to the fans there because I was on the bench for the last few home games, so it will be a chance to do that as well because they were great with me during my time there."
