Ghanaian proud to move to Juventus

Kwadwo Asamoah has expressed his joy at the prospect of pulling on the shirt of Juventus after his move to Turin from Udinese. The Ghanaian will become just the second player from his homeland to play for the club, following in the footsteps of Stephen Appiah. He moved to Italy in 2008 when he enjoyed a loan spell at Torino before joining Udinese. But now he feels he has achieved his dream.

Best

He said: "It's the best thing in my life, because Juventus are a very big club, who won the championship last year. "I have seen many of their games and I am very happy to be here. "I can't wait to wear the famous jersey on my body, it is a childhood dream which has become a reality."
Pirlo
The 23-year-old is also excited about lining up alongside Andreas Pirlo in the Juventus midfield. "He is still the best for me because he always plays well," Asamoah added. "He gives the tempo to the game, only the pair of Barcelona midfielders, Xavi and Iniesta, can get close to him as a pair. "He has so much experience, but never changes and for me he is the most important player."
