Welshman impresses on trial at London club
Sky Sports understands Leyton Orient are poised to sign former Southampton man Lloyd James on a free transfer.
The versatile 24-year-old is available after leaving Colchester upon completion of his two-year contract with the club at the end of last season.
The former Wales under-21 international has been on trial at Orient in recent days and is believed to have impressed manager Russell Slade sufficiently to earn a contract with the club.
James began his career at Saints, making 71 league appearances before being released in 2010.
