There are plenty of possibilities, claims former Bolton defender

Gretar Steinsson plans to take his time before choosing his next club after leaving Bolton at the end of last season. Steinsson's contract expired at the Reebok Stadium following a four-and-a-half year stay with the Trotters that ended with the disappointment of relegation on the final day of last term. The Iceland international is now a free agent and claims to have interest from "all over Europe" but stresses that patience is the key. "There are plenty of possibilities," Steinsson told Icelandic website Fotbolti.net. "You just have to be patient and know when to make your decision. "I'm in a good position, so I need to consider things carefully and make my decision at the right time. "I've had interest from all over Europe. I'm just looking at the options and it's mostly about the right timing. "Hopefully things will be worked out as soon as possible so I can get to know the new team before the start of the season." The 30-year-old right-back played more than 100 Premier League games for Bolton after joining the club from AZ Alkmaar in a £3.5million deal in January 2008.
