Talks planned with forward ahead of expiry of contract

Hannover forward Jan Schlaudraff wants to put his future on hold until the winter amid speculation he will leave the club at the end of the season. The former Germany international will be out of contract in the summer and there will be talks regarding a potential new deal. Schlaudraff, 28, insists he is happy with Hannover but he is also in no rush to settle his future. He is quoted as saying: "I feel great being at Hannover. I am able to imagine there is something in the making at this club and, truly, Hannover will remain a priority. "We are in a tough schedule until Christmas and I am fully focused on that. I want to keep up my fitness and I want to keep up my form. "We will be back on the (contract talks) table during the winter time." Hannover chairman Martin Kind said: "Signing a new deal with Jan Schlaudraff is no easy thing to do for us, but we have a good chance to tie him down."
