West Ham have taken Lens youngster Hamdi Billal on trial for 10 days as he bids to earn a contract.
The 19-year-old will link up with Sam Allardyce's squad where he will be monitored and evaluated by the Hammers' coaching staff over the coming days.
And Billal is ready to seize his chance in the hope of clinching a move to the Championship club.
"Nothing has been decided yet, hopefully I can convince the management and earn a contract here," he told skysports.com.
"I think I can play at level and hopefully I will impress them."
