Malaga are not prepared to sell Blackburn Rovers target Jose Recio amid reports that the Premier League club are scouting the midfielder.
It is understood that Steve Kean's Rovers have watched the 20-year-old in his last three matches and are considering an attempt to complete a deal in the summer.
Recio has been a revelation in La Liga this season and other Spanish clubs are also paying attention to his progress.
But the Spain Under 20 international is under contract until June 2015 and a buy-out clause is said to be set at €7million (£6.2m).
And Malaga director Jose Carlos Perez is adamant that Recio will not be allowed to leave, as he said: "Malaga is not a selling club."
