Mexican skipper confident of win

Mexico captain Gerardo Torrado insists France hold no fears for his side ahead of their meeting on Thursday. Both sides go into their second game in Group A with one point apiece after draws in their opening encounters. Torrado says Mexico will be going all out for victory against the 2006 runners-up and that they are not afraid of France's top stars. "We have to get a result. We have to look to win against France," said Torrado. "At the end of the day, we're not playing against their stars, we're playing 11 against 11. We have to be warriors." Torrado expects Mexico to handle the pressure of the game despite the importance of the match. "It's a World Cup so the pressure is always there but there's no problem in the squad," noted Torrado. Mexico team-mate Carlos Vela is confident Mexico can spring a shock against France. "We know we have a good team and we can win against France," noted Vela. "We'll come out looking to win."
