Teenager joins up with Bundesliga outfit for 2009/2010 season

Arsenal have allowed Norwegian defender Harvard Nordtveit to join FC Nurnberg on a season-long loan. Nordtveit joined the Gunners from FK Haugesund in 2007 and the 19-year-old youth international enjoyed a stint as reserve captain before two loan spells in Spain and Norway last season. The central defender started the 2008/2009 campaign with UD Salamanca in the Spanish second division where he also featured as a defensive midfielder before returning to his native land in March to play for Lillestrom. And the Premier League outfit have opted to farm Nordtveit out for a third time and he will now travel to Germany to join up with the Nurnberg squad as they prepare for the forthcoming Bundesliga season.
