Wright looking to make an impact at Moss Rose

Macclesfield Town have snapped up Ben Wright after the striker was released by Lincoln City. Wright has agreed a one-year contract with the Silkmen after spending the previous two seasons at League Two rivals Lincoln. He had scored just three goals this term for the Imps and is now looking to make an impact for Keith Alexander's side. "I'm a tall forward, and good in the air, but that's not all my game is about," Wright told the club's official website. "People can see you being six foot four and think you're just there to win headers, but I also like to get in behind the defences and try and get high up the pitch. "I can be a target man, but there's more in the locker than just out-jumping people. "I was a bit disappointed with the season just gone. It was very stop-start with injuries preventing me from getting a regular run, so I am really looking forward to the challenge next season. "I've come here and spoken to the manager and I'm excited by the season ahead."
