Motherwell will be looking to book their place in the semi-finals of the Co-operative Insurance Cup at Dundee United's expense.
Midfielder Keith Lasley is an injury worry ahead of the visit of the Terrors to Fir Park on Tuesday night.
He picked up a hamstring injury in the 2-1 win over Peter Houston's side on Saturday which took them into third place in the SPL.
Esteban Casagolda remains on the sidelines as he recovers from a knee operation, but Well manager Craig Brown has no other fresh injury concerns.
Dundee United's Craig Conway is a possible non-starter after he limped out of the weekend defeat in the 35th minute with a knee problem.
United boss Houston said: "Conway is doubtful. He got knocked accidentally in the back of the knee.
"He's had his knee scanned and there's no swelling. If it was to do with the knee you'd have swelling. So it could be the hamstring which runs into the bottom of the knee."
Defender Darren Dods (knee) remains out, while midfielder Danny Swanson (back) is not yet fit to return.
